Mission Statement

To support, educate and advocate for persons with Prader-Willi syndrome, their families and professionals in meeting the challenges of this disability.

Goals

PWSA of WI, Inc. will:

  • Provide ongoing education to parents and professionals who support persons who have PWS.

  • Support, educate and advocate for persons with PWS along with their families and others who support them.

  • Provide and/or facilitate safe environments where nutritional and behavioral supports are in place so that all persons with PWS can successfully engage in a recreational and social opportunity.

  • Strive to improve the quality and quantity of hopeful and accurate information that parents of children with PWS receive at the time of diagnosis.

  • Strive to increase awareness about PWS so that more children and adults receive the proper diagnosis and management of the syndrome. PWSA-WI will work to increase our membership database by 10%.
